Turn your M4 AEG into the iconic Rebel blaster rifle from Return of the Jedi and take the fight to the Empire! When used on a M4 CQBR, it is designed to accommodate a mini tracer unit such as the G&G UVT-106 series or Acetech Lighter S and clones. Fitment may differ based on your actual AEG dimensions- but the G&G UVT-106 is recommended for widest compatibility as it is shorter than the Acetech.
This DIY kit consists of all the pieces needed to build your own A280 on an M4 AEG of your choice! By selecting options you will get the parts needed to complete the front end, stock, receiver greebies, and/or scope assembly. All parts will be provided unpainted/unfinished, with supports removed. Minor blemishes may be present due to the nature of 3D printed parts but everything is guaranteed to fit on the provided pre-cut PVC tubing and EMT Conduit. We're offering this option for faster shipping times, lower cost, and greater flexibility for custom builds.
- Front end parts are printed in thick walled PLA+ or PETG where applicable, the PVC tubing is pre-cut, epoxied and aligned. Two styles of Faux mags are available. The Front Grip may be Urethane Resin or PLA+ depending availability
- The scope kit is SLA resin with the exception of the riser which is PLA+ and it will include 2 front options. The Red Dot is available as an add-on. Scope rings are currently not available due to supplier issues.
- The stocks are PLA+ and PETG as applicable and include all hardware needed for mounting on a milspec diameter tube. Both stocks include a rubberized textured sticker for the rear for non-slip shouldering, and real metal screws
- Greeblies are SLA resin printed and to be glued to the receiver
- Picatinny Rail Fillers are PLA+ and are to be glued in to fill in the top rail for filling/sanding
Assembly IS required but modifications to the base AEG are not permanent beyond removing the orange tip. You will need a set of drill bits for the mounting holes and 2 part epoxy to attach the parts to the PVC and Conduit (recommend JB Plastic Bonder). Instructions are included, and the assembly is very straightforward.
With the front end kit, a 2 piece barrel adapter piece will be included and you must provide a measurement of your outer barrel for this to fit properly. The fitment is designed around the standard M4 profile barrel and delta ring assembly, and mil-spec diameter aluminum buffer tubes.
